Children in Need day2nd December 2015
The school council recently organised a 'superhero ' day to raise money for Children in Need. They organised a 'Spot the Villain' game in class and filled the superhero sign with donated copper coins! We all managed to raise an amazing Â£368!
Bird Boxes2nd December 2015
Mr Cooke, one of our parents and Governor kindly made several bird boxes recently for the school grounds. Tag Rugby Tournament23rd October 2015
We recently competed in the CSSP Tag Rugby Tournament. Our B Team won all three of their games to go through to the semi-final. They finished in third place overall. The A team lost two games and drew two games.
Dr Palmer5th October 2015
On Wednesday 30th September Dr Palmer gave a talk to the Year 2 children about his job as an anaesthetist. This enhanced the children's topic work on 'Marvellous Medicines'. The children had great fun dressing up as surgeons, sisters and anaesthetists.
Macmillan Coffee Morning5th October 2015
On Friday 25th September the children brought in a huge selection of cakes to sell at breaktime. The school councillors welcomed and served parents and were great ambassadors for the school. We raised an amazing Â£483.
Harry Potter illustrator26th June 2015
This week Jonny Duddle the illustrator of the Harry Potter books came into Year 2 to do a workshop. This amazing opportunity was a Literacy prize won by Finlay Hover. Signed copies of the books were donated to the school library. Children in Year 2 were given the opportunity to have their own books signed by Jonny as well.  ...
