Remembrance week1st December 2014
During Remembrance week the children learnt about the many aspects of World War and enjoyed sharing what they had learnt about their own families. Activities throughout the school included poetry, artwork and drama. Every child made a poppy to go on our school Remembrance display in the hall and Â£62 was raised for the Poppy Appeal.
Harvest Donations24th October 2014
On Monday 20th October, the very generous harvest donations for the West Cheshire Foodbank were collected. A big thank you to everyone that contributed - it will make a real difference to people in our locality.
National Baking week15th October 2014
As part of their work on Harvest and National Baking week Year 5 made some fantastic bread working very well in their groups to make some tasty looking treats.
Tour of Britain12th September 2014
Twenty seven children from KS2 walked along the canal to Waverton to watch stage 2 of The Tour of Britain. The excitement of the police motorbikes, 120 cyclists and all the support vehicles was brilliant. With a 200 km course to do during the day we were very impressed with their speed!
