Residential visits take place in the junior year groups, Years 3-6. These visits provide opportunity for children to develop their skills in Outdoor Adventurous Activities.

Children participate in high quality physical education lessons. These lesson may be led by teachers of experienced coaches. The external coaches used by the school have developed strong relationships with the school over many years and offer expertise in many areas, enhancing our provision.

Our team sports day and competitive sports day bring in an element of competition to our physical education curriculum. Children complete in teams. Our sports crew help to run our health week by planning events, setting them up and helping to marshal them.

The school has membership of the School Sports Partnership. This membership allows the school to enter competitive sporting competitions such as athletics, football, athletics, hockey and cricket to name a few.

The school has a daily mile track around its field. Classes use this regularly throughout every week to have 10-15 minutes of exercise. 
The track is also used to support our chosen charity in the summer term, with children being sponsored to complete laps.
