Our Curriculum Documents
The curriculum at Christleton Primary School is organized across different documents according to the subject, year group and content being planned and delivered.
To aid understanding of how our curriculum is organised we have broken each of these documents down into the following areas:
Whole School Overview Our whole school curriculum overview details how we have organised the National Curriculum objectives for each subject. This is organised by year group and subject. |
Christleton 21 Pledge Our 21 pledge is a commitment to provide all of our children with experiences that underpin and expand on their in-class education. These experiences increase childrens range of skills and knowledge and provide them with a richer tapestry on which to build. |
National Curriculum Coverage Mapping Document For each subject this document maps out where the objectives laid out in the EYFS framework or the National Curriculum are taught / covered. |
EYFS Curriculum Progression Document This document sets out how we ensure delivery of the EYFS framework. |
Subject Roadmaps For each National Curriculum subject we have a dedicated roadmap. These roadmaps document a subject throughout the school detailing the content to be covered. |
Year group overview Year group overview documents detail what children will cover throughout the year in all curriculum subjects within a set year group. This document is organised by subject and half term. |
Subject Overviews A document that provides an overview of how we deliver each National Curriculum subject. These documents detail the curriculum coverage, key performance indicators and themes taught within a speciifc subject area. |
Teacher Planning Documents Staff use the above documents to create bespoke teaching plans. These plans are initially written as medium term plans and work towards ensuring key performance indicators are met. As a child moves through a unit of work / year, the knowledge and skills are progressive and build upon what has been taught before. |
