Clubs

At Christleton Primary school we try to provide a range of school clubs and activities for children to engage with. Some of these clubs run during the school day for example at lunchtime and others run after school.

Clubs run by school staff generally run for the first half term of each term, i.e. autumn term one, spring term one and summer term one. 

Clubs run by external providers generally run termly. The details, and cost where appropriate, of the clubs is distributed to parents electronically at the start of each term.

Some clubs have limited capacity, so your child may not always be guaranteed a place in a particular club.

Generally, after school clubs last between 45 minutes to an hour. In order for your child to take part in any extra-curricular club a parental consent form needs to be completed. Without this they will not be allowed to attend.

External Providers

At Christleton Primary school we are fortunate to work with several external providers. We choose the partnerships we make very carefully to ensure that any external providers share our ethos and commitment to providing the best for our children.

We currently are working with the following companies to provide both curriculum input and extra-curricula clubs.

House of Dance provide dance sessions to all year groups within the school and run an after school club.

They are the largest Dance within Education provider in Chester.

S.R. Football Development Ltd provide curriculum physical education sessions as well as after school clubs. They also train our school football team.

Our regular coaches Steve Reddy and Pat Walsh are highly qualified and well respected. They provide a quality input for our pupils.

AJ Huddard

AJ Huddard is a qualified tennis coach and PE teacher. 

He provides curriculum sessions as well as an after school club. 

Digital Wizards run a morning club in the summer term.

Digital Wizards inspires children to be creative as they get their hands on using the latest technology in a fun, exciting and interactive way.
